Covenant One Takes – Katherine and Caroline

"Our residents who have lived nearly 100 years are suddenly being told the most important thing – their family – is the one thing they cannot have access to. That's an unbelievable burden."

In today's edition of One Takes, Katherine checks in with Caroline East, a child of Covenant and ordained Presbyterian minister who is now chaplain at Sharon Towers, a retirement community.

"We have been forced to try lots of new things, and we've learned that failure is not a crisis," Caroline said. "On our closed-circuit TV channel, we're doing candid conversations with residents, an interview show to hear stories and reminders of how they have lived through history."
