Rev. Dr. Jerry Cannon
Summer Sunday School: Discernment
June 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Fellowship Hall and on Zoom
This summer, Covenant will explore three distinct yet connected areas of Christian life: discernment, Sabbath, and equipping. We will welcome a variety of notable speakers to inspire our studies and inform our discussions to follow.
We will begin our summer education with Rev. Dr. Jerry Cannon, who serves as Vice President, Ministry Innovation with the Board of Pensions. His leadership in ministry—both at the congregational level and the denominational level—requires ongoing discernment. He will speak on the concept of discernment, grounding us in scripture, and help us consider how identifying gifts (ours and others) plays a critical role in the practice of discernment.
