Our World

International and National Mission
We believe our neighbors live not only beyond the doors of our church, but beyond the boundaries of our community. God calls on us to build lasting relationships around the world. In the faces of the people we serve, we will find our faith strengthened, our horizons broadened and our lives changed.
How can you help our global mission?
Go on a Mission Trip
Please keep in prayer our mission teams that will travel in 2013 to serve children and families who live in poverty in our nation and world. We will serve with Appalachia Service Project repairing homes, work with Mayan Children's Village in Yucatan, Mexico, to build a sustainable garden, and partner with Habitat for Humanity in El Salvador to build homes with low-income families.
We leave the demands of our lives and begin a journey, called by God, to worlds so different from our own. Join us as we build friendships with those we serve, immersing ourselves in their cultures and blessing their lives as they bless ours.

Find Your Global Mission - At Home
If you can't join us on a mission journey, you still can be a valuable contributor to Covenant's global team. Be a mentor to a college student traveling to a Third World country. Make baby items for an African mission. Help out with our fun annual mission auction, which will be held February 26.
Make a Dress
Dozens of people in Charlotte have made dresses from this simple pattern that our mission teams take to orphanages in other countries. This fall, a team travels to Haiti with medical supplies and, we hope, hundreds of dresses for children there. Please return finished dresses to Carla Leaf by early September.
