Our World

International and National Mission

We believe our neighbors live not only beyond the doors of our church, but beyond the boundaries of our community. God calls on us to build lasting relationships around the world. In the faces of the people we serve, we will find our faith strengthened, our horizons broadened and our lives changed.

How can you help our global mission?

Go on a Mission Trip

Travel with us in 2012 as we continue to serve children and families who live in poverty in our nation and world.  We will serve with Appalachia Service Project repairing homes, work with Mayan Children's Village in Yucatan, Mexico, to build a sustainable garden, and partner with Habitat for Humanity in El Salvador to build homes with low-income families.

We leave the demands of our lives and begin a journey, called by God, to worlds so different from our own. Join us as we build friendships with those we serve, immersing ourselves in their cultures and blessing their lives as they bless ours.

For Adults:

  • Appalachia Service Project, January 29-February 4
  • Yucatan, Mexico, March 17-23,
  • El Salvador (Habitat for Humanity), June 9-17
  • NEW! Haiti, September 23-30

For Youth:

  • 6th-7th grades, CROSS Missions (Charlotte), June 17-22
  • 8th grade (QUEST class), Heifer International, Arkansas, June 24-29
  • High school details to come.

For adult trips, find an application here. Please return to Carla Leaf by April 30 (for Haiti!).

Find Your Global Mission - At Home

If you can't join us on a mission journey, you still can be a valuable contributor to Covenant's global team. Be a mentor to a college student traveling to a Third World country. Make baby items for an African mission. Help out with our fun annual mission auction, which will be held February 26.

Support our Mission Partners

Covenant is proud to be affiliated with worthy aid organizations around the world. Find out more about them - and how you can give your support.
