Children, youth will sing on Mother's Day

 
What better gift for moms than to hear your child sing on Mother's Day? Join rehearsals now in preparation for a morning of joyful music on Sunday, May 14 in the 11 a.m. traditional and contemporary worship services. 

One week later, children and youth will sing an extended music program for the residents at Sharon Towers on Sunday, May 21 at 4 p.m. in Hunter Hall. All are invited to attend.

Here's what youth and children's choirs are preparing for Mother's Day:

  • Youth Chorale: For the Beauty of the Earth, John Rutter
  • Choristers and Angelus Choirs: The Blessing of a Mother’s Love, Becki Mayo
  • Youth Handbell Choir: Joy and Delight, Brenda Austin 

Here's a look at the rehearsal schedule for each group:

The Angelus Choir (grades K-2) rehearses Sundays 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. in EW207.

The Choristers Choir (grades 3-5) rehearses Sundays 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. in EW322.

The Youth Handbell Choir (grades 6-12) rehearses on Sundays from 4 to 4:45 p.m. in EW320.

The Youth Chorale (grades 6-12) rehearses on Sundays from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. in EW315.
