Early Childhood (Infant - Kindergarten)

At Covenant, it's called First Floor - a place where our youngest children make their first church friends, hear their first Bible stories and sing their first songs about God's love.  Within the safe, nurturing environment, the seeds of faith are planted and begin to grow.

On the first floor of the Education Wing, Child Care is provided for infants and toddlers.  Sunday School is offered at two times for ages 2-5.  The weekly Bible story, introduced in Sunday School, is repeated at Covenant Connectio on Wednesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm to increase familiarity with God's Word.  Sunday School lessons include a variety of age appropriate learning activities that enhance the spiritual development of young children.

During the week, our first floor is home to Covenant's nationally accredited preschool for children ages 1-5. Please learn more about our preschool program here.

Sunday School and child care classrooms are identified by the following colors:

Yellow - Toddlers

Red - 2 year olds

Blue - 3 year olds

Green - 4 year olds

Purple - 5 year olds

Vacation Bible School coming...June 24-28, 2013. 

Babysitters are needed for VBS.  Contact Anne Lowrance.

First Floor song leaders (with or without instruments) are needed to lead Music Time for 20 minutes at 10:00 and/or 11:00 am this summer.  Contact Anne Lowrance to volunteer.

There are two Presbyterian Women's Circles at Covenant that meet on Monday mornings and provide child care.  Mary Circle (2nd Mondays, 9:15-11:30 am), Abigail Circle (3rd Monday's, 9:15-11:30 am) offer Bible study, prayer, fellowship, support and refreshments.  All are welcomed!  For more information conatact Anne Lowrance.
